To save the date, in most cases we require a 50% non-refundable retainer. The balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding day. If you would like to discuss a payment plan, please just let us know, we will make every effort to work out a payment schedule that works for everyone.
For weddings dates over 15 months in the future, we require a 30% non-refundable retainer, with a second payment due mid-way from the initial booking date, and the balance due 30 days prior to your wedding date.
We feel we are pretty relaxed compared to our competitors, but there are a few things we ask you not use or for your event. These are our big no,nos.
- We do not allow candles with live fire inside the Event Barn
- We all sparklers only as part of the couple send-off. If sparklers are to be used we require they be held and controlled by the owner until it’s time to put them to use. We do not allow fireworks, birdseed, unless given specific permission and it's written in the package agreement.
Milepost 1808’s Event Barn is located on our 30-acre farm, where we board horses as well. There are a plethora of stunning ceremony spots on the property, we are happy to show you the favorite spots that we think offer a beautiful views special enough to marry the love of your life.
In case of inclement weather, we have several options. We have a 200 person tent that we can set up the day prior to your event if there is a high chance of rain in the forecast.
We also have the option of flipping the Event Barn and having both the wedding ceremony inside, this can be done in under an hour. We have had the need to do this several times in the past, and are well versed at making it happen quickly and efficiently. Rest assured both your ceremony and reception will be beautiful inside the Event Barn if needed.
